Couldn’t have pulled off this event without the flexibility from you and your team, so thank you. You all made the event more fun and seamless, and we’ve heard nothing but great things so far. The feedback from the guests has been overwhelmingly positive, so that’s always good to hear, and we have our internal post-mortum at the end of this week and will share if anything comes out of that.

We’re a few weeks behind in our thank you’s but we just wanted to reach out and express our gratitude for everything you did to make our wedding day so wonderful. You truly went above and beyond; thank you for your kindness, patience, and for handling every little detail with such care. Everything was absolutely perfect and we know that wouldn’t have been possible without you.
We were especially touched by the surprise egg cream station that you and my mother worked on. I know I cried when we added sfogliatelle to the dessert menu, so you should have seen my reaction to the egg cream station lol. It was incredible and also was a big hit with our family and friends. Moments like that are a perfect example of how extraordinary you are at making couples feel genuinely special.
Please also extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire staff. Everyone was so warm and caring; everyone also had levels of attentiveness we didn’t even know were possible, from a lovely gesture of a post-ceremony glass of champagne to going above and beyond in making sure our parents were taken care of during cocktail hour. It’s clear how much pride your whole team takes in creating unforgettable experiences, and it made such a remarkable difference throughout the day. We were truly able to enjoy every second and be in each moment with each other.
We’re incredibly appreciative and will always have the most wonderful memories to look back on from our wedding. We hope we get to see you at some point in the future; until then, we’ll just keep waving and say “Hi Gianna” every time we drive past the Mallard going onto the island 😊 — sorry if that’s weird but we do that every time lol.

Andrew and I are finally transitioning back to reality after the wedding and we can’t thank you and your team enough. You all made our day so special, seamless, and fun!! We are so happy with how the day went and so much of that is attributed to everyone at The Ashford Estate and Merri Makers as well as all of our other vendors. Both of our families have been commenting on how helpful you all were the entire time. I think Megan left an impression on everyone, she was so on top of everything.
Katie and Devon were incredibly helpful and made each moment more fun and definitely less stressful for me. Thank goodness they were there to help with the veil. I hope that our guests were as kind to your staff as everyone was to us. I don’t think a single person came up to me on Saturday without mentioning how beautiful the venue is and how good the food was.
Andrew and I also want to personally thank Devon, she was just the best on Saturday!! She knew what we needed before we did and was on top of everything, but most importantly (for me) she was so fun and just made us feel so at ease. It honestly felt like I just had one of my friends with me throughout the night checking in.
Laura, you have been so amazing this entire process over the past year and a half, I’m sad it’s over but I couldn’t be happier with how it went! Thank you for answering every question I had, being patient with me on all the back and forth with the menu, and everything else along the way. I hope I get the guest experience at The Ashford Estate, because everyone has been raving about it since!!

I was lucky enough to get married here in October 2025 & I cannot overstate how perfect of a day it was! The location, interior/exterior design, & bay views all speak for themselves. What really made the day special was the staff. Every minute of my day I had someone picking up my dress before I even took a step or offering a hand to grab my bouquet in-between photos. The best thing about each person that was there was how much they would anticipate my needs. They would have what I needed before I even realized I needed it.
Beyond the staff- the food was phenomenal. After our tasting, we were excited about the menu we curated for our guests and couldn’t wait to surprise them with how delicious it would all be! Since the wedding, every guest who sees us talks about how amazing the venue was and how much they LOVED the food. They’ll name their favorite stations from cocktail hour or rave about their entree selection from dinner. It makes us so happy to know that we truly provided our guests with the best possible experience thanks to Merri-Makers.
If you book with Merri-Makers and work with Lauren, you’ll be well taken care of. She makes herself available to your every need no matter what time of day. We took our tour with Haley, and she answered questions for me all the way up to the wedding day. One of my favorite things was a candid video Haley took of me with my bridesmaids minutes before walking down the aisle. It’s a memory I’ll have and look back at fondly forever, all thanks to Haley! I’d also like to shoutout the Bridal attendants Hailey and Summer. They were the BEST! They were everywhere I was. They carried my lip gloss and helped me buckle my shoes. Literally were my best friends all day long. Other incredible staff was Kristi, Frank, and Luanne.

Our son was married at Ashford Estate last weekend. Our friends are calling telling us it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to….the food was amazing and the staff were lovely. Big recommend.
The entire Merrimakers staff are absolutely incredible. Our event planner, Gianna, was incredible. She made our day seamless and answered every question we had. The service is impeccable and unlike any other venue we toured. Our families and guest commented on the incredible service they received. The staff made sure our immediate families were taken care of the entire night which meant so much to us. The food is absolutely incredible as well. You have tons of options to upgrade or customize your menu. So many guests commented on cocktail hour and how good the entrees were. If you are considering a Merri-Makers property it is absolutely worth it. You will not be disappointed with your experience!
