We had such an incredible day with the Merri-Makers team.  While the weather was far from ideal, Gianna, Sam, Jillian, Nicole and the rest of the team there that day did a remarkable job running a seamless wedding – and it definitely wasn’t easy!

The team made us feel so comfortable so quickly with their expertise, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our day. Don’t even get me started on the food! So many guests complimented how delicious the food was from cocktail hour to dinner service to dessert. I know we thoroughly enjoyed it as well.

It was mind blowing to know the venue was running on a generator for most of the night and the kitchen was still able to produce such a menu. Bravo to everyone who made our wedding day possible – it was such a dream and know it couldn’t have happened without the entire Merri-Makers team! We can’t thank you enough!

The whole event was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful from the moment we stepped onto the venue to the minute we left. I’d also like to give a huge thank you to my bridal attendants, they helped keep me sane throughout the entire day.

We could not thank all the staff & the Merri-Makers team enough for making our wedding an absolute dream come true.

Our guests had nothing but great things to say & are still raving about our wedding a month later! We have even got a “The best wedding we’ve ever been to!” comment or two – which has been amazing to hear.

The entire staff are absolute angels & we seriously could not have the successful wedding that we did without them. I’m extremely Type A & wedding planning was definitely a feat – it takes a lot of trust for me to hand over all the logistics of the day haha.  But seriously – we weren’t stressed about anything at all & we have the staff to thank for that.  Whatever we needed or wanted, it was instantly granted. And even when we didn’t need anything – it was so great to have them check up on us the whole day & night.

And the food… Also have gotten “The best food we’ve ever had at a wedding” comments!  Everything was beyond delicious & exceeded our expectations (and they were already pretty high after the food tasting!)   We both cannot say more good things about our wedding day & cannot express our gratitude enough to the team for making our day so memorable.  We’re always going to have a strong & special place in our heart for everyone who was a part of our wedding day, and we’re forever indebted to them all.

We’re even trying to get Aaron’s brothers to consider getting married at The Ashford Estate just so we can go and experience it again!  So hopefully we’re successful haha – but even if we’re not, our time at The Ashford Estate will forever be ingrained in our memory as the absolute best day of our lives & we cannot wait to visit and relive the day for years to come!

The entire experience at Bonnet Island Estate from the ceremony in the quaint chapel to the seamless reception could not have gone smoother.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback we continue to receive from our guests underscores our sentiment.

It is unusual for me to be so complimentary of services provided these days.  There almost always seems to be some aspect that doesn’t rise to one’s expectation.

Linda and I would not hesitate to recommend Bonnet Island to anyone seeking a first class wedding and catering venue.

We would like to recognize specifically Mary Rasmussen who was outstanding every step of the way in guiding us through this detailed and unfamiliar process.  Also, Lauren and Laura were extremely professional and calming during the event.  Lastly, we must recognize bridal attendants Summer and Samantha who both were amazingly helpful and attentive.

Thank you for providing the beautiful venue and the talented and professional team to ensure Alyssa and Luke’s wedding was an unforgettable experience for all.
