We were initially drawn to Bonnet Island because of the picturesque views, Jersey Shore atmosphere and accommodations.  But what truly sold us was the Merri-Makers ownership.  Everywhere we went, when we mentioned we were getting married at Bonnet, people would remark on the food being the best they’ve ever had!  We can confirm, from cocktail hour through dessert, Merri-Makers is second to none.

You get total personalization of your menu and the team will guide you on what’s been successful from their experience.  Both Andrea and Gianna were incredible event coordinators, agreeing to meet with us whenever we visited the venue.  The day of staff was respectful, attentive and professional to us, our party, our families and all the guests.  We never didn’t have a drink in our hand! We got to sample every piece of food.

After staying overnight, every item displayed was neatly packed, labeled and separated based on who had what.  The process was seamless and stress free.  We never had to worry about a thing!

Merri-Makers is regarded as on the top choices in the wedding industry and it’s easy to see why.  Thank you for making our day so memorable.

I can’t thank you and the other staff members enough for all of the attention to the details . The team made my daughter’s wedding day exactly as she envisioned it.

I am not a wealthy man but wanted to create an environment that was worthy of such a once in a lifetime event. Seeing how happy Carly was, was worth every penny.

The invited guest were amazed at the quality of plentiful food. Your efforts to meet dietary restrictions was much appreciated.

Thank you to all the staff and everyone involved for making this an extraordinarily beautiful wedding celebration for Kaasha and Christopher. Everything was smoothly executed and according to plan and in such stunningly beautiful surroundings. We were most impressed by the crew and staff working there. Our guests were blown away by their efficiency the entire evening while still maintaining a great attitude and happy smiling faces. A shout out to Megan, Abby, Maddie, Laurie, Taylor, Terry, Lu Ann and everyone else, for being amazingly helpful throughout.  We also got great feedback re. the food, the selections and the Chef’s skills. Your attention to all the details and your assurance about the plans gave us the confidence that we were all set and were in good hands. We are delighted that we held the wedding celebration at the Ashford Estate! Just waiting for the pictures now.

We cannot say enough AMAZING things about Mallard and their staff. There was no detail left untouched! Food and bar service were spectacular. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our coordinator Gianna was literally amazing. I cannot rave enough about every single thing in regards to this venue. It’s absolutely stunning, and the gardens and water views were perfect in June.

Now that we have recovered from our huge weekend I wanted to send you a huge THANK YOU for all the great work you and everyone did to make Danielle’s wedding the most amazing event.  Everything far exceeded our greatest expectations from the very moment we showed up at 1PM until the after party finished at 1AM.  I couldn’t have been happier with how beautiful the entire place looked and how incredible the service was throughout the day and night.  You all out-did yourselves, and most of all, you were amazing!

I just wanted to thank you so so much for all of your hard work and help in planning our wedding. Our day was absolutely incredible and seamless because of you and the staff at the Ashford. Neither Paul and I nor any of our parents wished for a single thing because everyone was so on top of it and checked on us throughout the entire day. I could not be more grateful.

It was the most amazing day and every single aspect of it exceeded our expectations. Every single staff member went above and beyond.  The food was exceptional.  We could not be happier!

Our son was married at Ashford Estate last weekend. Our friends are calling telling us it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to….the food was amazing and the staff were lovely. Big recommend.

The entire Merrimakers staff are absolutely incredible. Our event planner, Gianna, was incredible. She made our day seamless and answered every question we had. The service is impeccable and unlike any other venue we toured. Our families and guest commented on the incredible service they received. The staff made sure our immediate families were taken care of the entire night which meant so much to us. The food is absolutely incredible as well. You have tons of options to upgrade or customize your menu. So many guests commented on cocktail hour and how good the entrees were. If you are considering a Merri-Makers property it is absolutely worth it. You will not be disappointed with your experience!
