Governor Jon Corzine and
challenger Chris Christie can't agree on much, but
when it comes to catering a VIP event, they both vote for Andy
Bott - owner
of Merri-Makers at The Reception Center (at the PNC Arts
Center), Holmdel.
Andy has been the caterer for several prestigious events for
both
gubernatorial candidates during this year's election race 2009.
Perhaps it's because Andy has the reputation of delivering what
he promises?
Or that he treats all his guests like VIPs whether the guest is
President
Barak Obama, Christie, Corzine or former New York City Mayor
Rudi Giuliani,
all recent guests? Most likely it's because Andy has won the
approval
ratings of about a gazillion brides in his 30-plus years as a
caterer.
It also has much to do with Merri-Makers securing a high-level,
government
security clearance, such as when Barak Obama was Jon Corzine's
VIP guest.
"Barak Obama used my office as his," Andy said of the
president's
recent visit. "That was pretty special."
But don't ask Andy Bott for his political preference. He's not
talking. And
maybe that's the best reason of all. |
